This object based on aluminum components contains two small fans that alternately drive a kind of windmill, to the left as well as to the right.
A number of plumes with LEDs illuminate the construct. Similar plumes also function as the wind vanes that drive the rotating disc.
Some (very light) balls roll back and forth on that disc.
A clock reminds me of the fact that I originally wanted to build a kind of aluminum clock with a large clock face – but I clearly abandoned that concept in the course of the project… 😉
