Perhaps it’s obvious why I named this object “The Mine Lamp”, but just to be sure: inside the transparent sphere is a metal ball with protrusions, which reminded me a bit of what I suspect a naval mine might look like …
The various light sources regularly fade, and then gradually return to full strength, see the video below. As you can see from the photos and video, nice shadows are projected on the wall behind it (and on the ceiling as well).
